I'm Thorin and I am located in Frankford, MO. I have attended Northwest Missouri State University, and Lindenwood University. I earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and have been teaching for 14 years. I love to learn and continue to attend classes. My teaching philosophy is to provide a path for my students to discover an answer on their own; this allows for them to retain the material beyond memorization for a test. This method also allows for the student to discover that each step along that path is just as significant as the end result. I am able to tutor students in reading, writing, phonics, elementary through high school mathematics, English, World history, American history, government, computer science, literature, college algebra, precalculus, statistics, trigonometry, finite mathematics, and numerous IB technology courses. I am also able to tutor gifted and advanced placement students, and assist with test prep for numerous SAT and PSAT placement tests. My other interests are science fiction and fantasy, role-playing games, and computer programming.
